Our 7-1 students participated in the Edmonton Regional Heritage Fair this year - - they completed these projects while at home, in remote learning. Every student submitted virtually.  They met the challenges head on!!
There were 43 different submissions from Edmonton and area with 6 different awards.  Two of our students won!  They took 2/6 of the awards!
Anna G. researched Marie Lacoste Gérin-Lajoie.  Anna's incredible research on this Canadian feminist and social activist won her the "Best Women's History Project" award.
Hayden H. researched and presented a fabulous project on Emily Stowe.  Hayden was awarded honourable mention for "Best Use of Primary Sources".
All of our students  learned so much about history - including the messiness, injustices and unsung heroes within Canada's historical journey.
